CQB Airsoft Melksham Wiltshire
At West Wilts Combat Games want airsoft to be enjoyed in a safe and enjoyable environment, so please read, memorise and follow these few basic rules and precautions. A fuller set of the site rules can be provided to every player at CQB Airsoft Melksham.
Age Restrictions
To play in CQB Airsoft you must be over 16 years.
A Maximum of 20 Players per Session
In order to make the sessions more competitive, fast flowing and more enjoyable we have restricted the sessions to 20 players.
Personal Injury Disclaimer
Upon arrival you are required to sign a personal injury disclaimer. Doors open at 08:00 Saturday and Sunday, 17.30 weekday evenings. Everyone must attend a rules and safety brief before being allowed to participate in any airsoft game.
Please Note
If you arrive late and miss the rules and safety brief you will not be allowed to play.
Sessions / Play Durations - 4 hours
Weapons
All weapons brought into the facility must be in a case and re-cased when leaving.
Weapons are not to be on show at anytime outside of the facility.
Fair Competitive Gaming (Also see Hit Rules)
All weapons fire one bb with one pull of the trigger.
No drum mags.
No binary triggers.
FPS Limits
350fps BBs 0.20
313fps BBs 0.25
BBs can be purchased on site and you are welcome to bring your own, however, to stop cross contamination magazines will need to be emptied and bbs inspected for suitability. Strictly no steel bbs are to be used while competing in an airsoft game.
Hit Rules (Be a Sportsman)
A No Hit - if you hit the weapon.
Test Fire Area
You will be directed to a test fire area where your weapon will be checked for the FPS Limit of 350fps.
Under no circumstances ever fire weapons in the safe zones as you will be classed with unsafe weapons handling and banned from playing.
The site is lso used by Private Sector and Government Professionals, and Airsofters will follow the same safety handling rules as those professionals.
Clothing Requirements
Airsoft is a full contact sport and there is a risk of injury.
You play airsoft at CQB Airsoft Melksham at your own risk. Long sleeves and long trousers are reccommended.
Wear suitable footwear - No sandals / flip flops or trainers.
Eye and Face Protection
Eye protection must be able to withstand a point blank shot at 500fps using 0.2g bb.
Eye and face protection must remain on at all times in the game zone.
Pyrotechnics
Pyrotechnics (Pyros) can only be used by persons 18 years or over in designated areas.
Pyros brought into the site must be checked by a Marshal / Site Manager / Health and Safety Officer prior to the start of a game.
No Mk5 but you can use BFG.
Strictly no homemade pyros will be permitted.
Do not sneak pyros into the facility. This will result in a ban.
Pyros can be purchased from CQB Airsoft Melksham.
Personal Belongings
You are responsible for security of your equipment and and personal belongings at all times.
West Wilts Combat Games Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of any kind to personal property.
In Case of an Emergency
The Marshal will give 5 short blasts of their whistle and all players must immediately place their weapons on the floor and stand up. One long whistle blast will restart the game when safe to do so.
Marshals directions / instructions must be followed at all times.
